Resumen: Symbologist Robert Langdon is giving a lecture at the U.S. Capitol when a disturbing object is discovered which he identifies as an ancient invitation that will usher its recipient into a long-lost world of esoteric wisdom. When his mentor is brutally kidnapped, Langdon realizes that he must accept the invitation and follow wherever it leads in order to save him.
